Primary duties include:

Responsible for procuring materials

Compiling and keeping updates records of suppliers

Managing pricing structures

Planning of future procurement of inventory and equipment

Evaluation of supplier reliability and capacity

Negotiating contracts

Preparing budgets, costs analysis and reports

Enforcing company procuring policies

Requirements:

Should have a diploma or degree in studies related to procurement

Computer literate

Good negotiation skills
